PIV-2000 IV-Tester measures the IV curve of the sample module of solar panels, by the trigger signal from the solar simulator.
Additionally, it also can carry out the continuous measurement of the short circuit current (lsc).
Control signal from the IV testor triggers to emmit the light from the solar simulator on the solar module (sample module), and import the output from the solar module by using the bi-polar power supply for the measurement of the maximum output (Pmax).
IV characteristics can be measured by synchronizing the current/voltage of the sample and reference module, while varying the voltage of the sample by the bi-polar power supply.
